I've been an arts business owner for over 25 years. I had a performance company back in the day and I've owned a circus school for well over a decade. I started out with a lot of passion and very little business knowledge. I learned some hard lessons over the years but it did not deter me from chasing the dream of living my life in the arts. (even if I was told that was a hobby and not a career choice 😳)

I've had the benefit of amazing and supportive mentors who taught me about money, about business, about life, and about resilience. These professionals in their spheres shared their knowledge and resources openly and without judgement and to them I am eternally gratful.

I've shared so much of what I have learned that has made me a confident, successful creative business owner in small gatherings, over one to one dinners and coffees, in paniced emials or phone calls. Now it's time to share it more widely. Time to pay it forward so we all can grow our businesses and our bank accounts.
