Foundations Program

The Aerial Foundations Program is a 2-day course with a focus on setting you up with the fundamentals to run a strong and safe aerial circus program that prepares your students for success in their aerial training.
​
Our Foundations Program is an in-person program because I want to make sure coaches know how to:

rig their equipment
-
spot their students
-
advance students for success in a safe manner.
​
The Foundations Program consists of modules in:

aerial rigging
-
spotting fundamentals
-
basic anatomy
-
foundational elements on Trapeze
-
foundational elements on Hoop
-
foundational elements on Silks
-
drills, strength, and flexibility training to support the aerial requirements
-
lesson planning

Plus a full year of mentorship. That means we are here to assist you with questions, support your growth, and cheer you on as you grow your program. ​​

With the Completion of your program you will receive access to our On-Line Video Elements Library. This access is for life.
TWO WAYS TO GET STARTED
IN-PERSON at spectacle blue
This is a two-day program at our studio in Okotoks, and we work in small teacher cohorts for each course. Teachers are required to bring their own students to work with; we recommend two students who share the workload, to keep students engaged, healthy, and energized. We also invite one of our students to support your learning.

Two weeks prior to the course date you will receive a link to the online "Introduction to Rigging" module. It is required that you view this module in advance of your training.
IN-PERSON at your facility
Don't live near us? That's okay, we can come to you! Our team will work with you beforehand to make sure your facility is ready to rig.
