Service Description
At the Stellar Human Project we believe in empowering our teens to have the confidence to get out in the world and be their best selves. We know that means teaching them not just value driven skills but also practical skills. We so often look at anxiety through a negative lens. Anxiety has its place in our life we just need to ask it "Are you serving me right now" when it shows up. If the answer is "no" then we want to have the skills to talk it down and put it away. This 4 hour workshop with certified Canadian Councillors Keyva Jacobsen MA, CCC and Crystal Caneus-Penner MA, CCC walk our teens through understanding their anxiety, assessing it, and how to manage it in ways that put it to work for them instead of against them. With exam season right around the corner Keyva and Crystal will have a strong focus on managing test anxiety.
